Goldilocks #3 is live, today!



I’m thrilled I was able to get this book launched. Allow me to explain why I’m so relieved:


I bought a new computer because mine didn’t have enough storage space. I could no longer do updates and I had to keep removing files, photos and programs in order to save more files. My hubby needed a computer for his needs—he doesn’t require a computer with lots of storage—so I decided he could have my old one and I’d get a new one with more storage.


All was great! I was so happy when it arrived that I immediately transferred all my files via wi-fi to the new computer. To make a long story short, I lost so many files, including a lot of my writing files. And, of course, I had already removed them from the old computer and done a wipe.


No worries, right? I have an external hard drive everything is backed up to: all the photos I’ve ever taken, every book and story I’ve ever written, my notes about who to contact for releases, and so many other important things I don’t even know I’m missing, yet. I took it out of the safe and dropped it from about a foot off the floor. DAMMIT!


It was clicking so I unplugged it, called my son—a computer geek—and he set me up with a company in California. The disk was overnighted to them, and they took it apart in their special link-free, static-free room. A few days later, they called to tell me they could get nothing off the drive; it was scratched.


My world started spinning and I vomited… yup, hurled! My whole everything was gone. Needless to say, I’ve been chasing my tail trying to get caught up and recreate files. Thankfully some stuff was saved in my online drives, but so much is gone. Too many photos of my children, who are now adults, are gone. Those I'll miss most of all.


Anyway, back to the release! I’m so excited Goldie #3 went live without any issues. So, please, enjoy all three Goldilocks and the Three Bear Brothers books and I’ll start rewriting what I had started for book #4. Hopefully I can remember what I’d written.
